Gymnazium Hladnov and the State Language School with Accreditation for State Language Examinations, Ostrava
Language School Hladnov is a modern public language training center addressed to adults, at a non-university learning sphere.
Our language school is located in the centre of Ostrava, organizing individual and group language courses in main world languages, including Czech for Foreigners.
Language School Hladnov with Accreditation for State Language Examinations guarantees high teaching standards. The school, which for many years was situated at „Jízdárna“, continues on in its new location in the tradition that has always focused on a wide range of courses and quality teaching.
Our aim is to develop:
- the student's ability to use language effectively as a general means of communication
- the acknowledgement of and respect for linguistic and cultural diversity as a tool for dialogue between different peoples.
Exams and Certification:
Our school conducts the state language examinations at all levels as well as a range of international certificates (FCE, CAE, DELE)
The language school Hladnov is in charge of the examinations needed to obtain the two official certificates:
- State exam – Basic – B2 level according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
- State exam – General – C1 level according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
In English, Spanish, Italian, French, Czech language
The certification tests involve five different parts, which ensure a complete language assessment including the different aspects of communicative competence.
